Aloin (mixture of A&B) has diverse biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, immunity, antidiabetic, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, and antitumor activities. Aloin (mixture of A&B) also an effective inhibitor of stimulated granulocyte matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).
